Print Production from A to Z
From the first data entry to final finishing, everything runs digitally. You plan, control, and monitor every step – seamlessly and in real time. With JDF/JMF, digital production data acquisition (PDA), and a clear structure, you stay in control and remain flexible.
Prepress & Data Management
All production data is consolidated centrally – clearly structured and without media disruptions. Prepress has direct access to complete, up-to-date information. No duplicate entries, significantly fewer follow-up questions. Clean data management ensures a smooth start to production.

Centralised Data Management
Everything in one place:
All documents are clearly structured, up to date, and instantly accessible – in the office or on the go. Quotes, orders, invoices, or emails are stored directly with the job. Version control and audit-proof archiving ensure clarity and traceability.

Production Planning & Control (PPS)
Jobs, machines, materials – everything at a glance. You plan proactively, manage flexibly, and make targeted use of your capacity. Bottlenecks are identified early, helping you stay on schedule.

Planning Board (SCH)
Everything at a glance – with the digital planning board: visually manage current and scheduled production jobs with full transparency.
Task Management
You control production using the planning board, task management, and electronic job tickets – clearly structured and in real time. Job information comes directly from the shop floor, and feedback flows automatically into the system. Machines connected via JDF send status updates such as runtime, quantities, as well as details about the press and operator. This gives you full visibility and enables targeted intervention.
Electronic Job Ticket (EJT)
The electronic job ticket brings together data from planning, prepress, and production: machines, materials, runtimes, and feedback. Your staff can see at a glance what needs to be done – directly at the workstation. Clearly structured, automatically updated, and paperless.
Production Data Acquisition (PDA)
Using JDF/JMF, production times, machine status, and progress are recorded directly. Feedback from the shop floor flows automatically into the system. If you don’t use JDF/JMF, data can be entered manually by staff via start–stop entries. Whichever method you choose, your production data remains complete and fully traceable at all times.

JDF / JMF
Seamlessly connected with JDF/JMF:
print jobs are automatically sent to machines and systems – without media disruptions. JDF and JMF enable end-to-end communication, reduce manual interventions, and provide real-time transparency. This allows you to manage your production precisely and efficiently.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Is uTraxx compatible with our existing machines and workflows?
Yes – the software can be integrated with your existing workflows and machinery. Using standards like JDF/JMF, print and finishing machines are connected to the prepress workflow, which in turn links to uTraxx. Our team will support you throughout the process. What’s important: the integration should be carefully planned – both technically and operationally.
How does uTraxx support my production planning?
Our ERP automatically links jobs, resources, and machines. Production managers use the digital planning board as a central tool – with a clear overview, real-time data, and structured layout. Availability and priorities are integrated directly into the planning process. This allows bottlenecks to be identified early and workflows to be adjusted flexibly.
What are the benefits of a digital planning board?
Changes can be made instantly – no paperwork needed. Machine capacities, materials, and priorities are factored in automatically. Bottlenecks are identified early, and downtime becomes less frequent. Plus: all departments work on the same basis – clear and connected.
Can I track which jobs are currently running in real time?
Yes – if your machines are connected to the software via JDF/JMF. Manual PDA entries by staff are also visible directly in the planning board and tasks.
Important:
If you want to use real-time monitoring, it should be integrated into your digitalisation strategy early on!
