Supply chain integration without media discontinuity
Real-time data processing is essential for printing companies. Our open ERP system can technically integrate any type of interface.
Even in a digital world, orders are often still sent in the form of PDFs by email or even by post. The order parameters then have to be entered into the system manually. This manual entry takes time and is prone to errors. This effort is eliminated when print shops provide portals for their regular customers or order interfaces to customer ERP systems. This relieves internal sales staff of administrative tasks and allows them to focus more on customer service.
Direct exchange with suppliers and partners
The uTraxx ERP system allows connection to any modern interface (API). For example, price inquiries for raw materials, such as paper or bookbinding services, can be retrieved directly. Suppliers can use eProcurement platforms to provide information about order status, so that buyers or clerks are kept informed at all times and do not have to constantly make inquiries by phone or email. The same applies to logistics service providers, who receive orders directly from uTraxx ERP and report back on delivery status.
Digitally connected production
A constant flow of information is also necessary within the company. The first touchpoint occurs during printing plate production. Often, there is no interface here, or the MIS used transfers the basic information for a job to prepress via XML/JDF Level 1. As a rule, the prepress employee then creates the technical parameters, the imposition, in their system. uTraxx automates this step and transfers the impositions generated by artificial intelligence directly to prepress via JDF stripping. uTraxx supports up to Level 3, so that status messages from systems and machines flow back. This significantly reduces the error rate and increases the data quality for evaluations.
Integrated web portal
Optionally, uTraxx offers printing service providers who want to establish and expand their online business a web portal that does not require any additional interfaces. The fully integrated web shop allows customers to create orders, edit and personalize print products, and calculate prices in real time. Order status, stock calls, and reorder requests are also possible via the portal. The print service provider's end customer feels at home in this environment, as the interface matches their corporate identity. This allows the customer and media company to grow together in a sustainable way.
